About Us

Founded in 1985 by Mukul M. Mehta as Mayflower Textile Services, the company has grown from a production laundering level of 2,000 lbs. daily to 170,000 lbs. daily.

Several new activities and products have been added since the initial days of 1985.  The companies are now collectively known as The Mayflower Group.

The Mayflower Group owns 4 plants:

A)  Mayflower Textiles Plant # 1 in Baltimore.  This plant rents linen to Hotels and Restaurants
B)  Mayflower Textiles Plant # 2 in Baltimore.  This plant rents linen to Hospitals, Hospices and Nursing Homes.
C)  Mayflower Uniform and Medical Supplies (MUMS) Plant is in Baltimore.  This plant processes garments, be it rental or customer owned and all types of healthcare linen.

We are comprised of three linen production plants and one garment processing plant known as MUMS.  Located in Baltimore and Northern Maryland we service customers in Maryland, The District of Columbia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.  Mayflower's customers include major hospital groups, surgical centers, doctor’s clinics, industry-leading hotels, and 5 star restaurants.

Mukul M. Mehta, CEO and founder of the Mayflower Group, has been insistent on providing the best quality of service at the best possible price for the past two decades. In order to meet these goals, he has invested in the latest energy efficient technology and equipment to better serve the customer.  Not only is the equipment of highest quality, but the company is supported by a highly effective management team, customer service representatives, and support personnel.  The Mayflower team constantly undergoes training and education in the latest technology, systems, and customer relationship management
